Free Call Planet utilizes the latest VoIP technology. VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) also known as IP Telephony, refers to the technology of transferring voice conversations over a data network utilizing Internet protocols. The data network could be the Internet, or a company's private data network.

By dialing a domestic phone number, our customers are transferred across the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) to Free Call Planet's Voice over IP International Gateway. The call is sent out over Free Call Planet's IP international network. Once delivered to a gateway in the destination country the call is transferred over that country's PSTN to the destination phone number.

Unlike other VOIP service providers, we allow you to make your call from any phone, without requiring special equipment, a special phone, a computer and microphone, etc.  This makes our service accessible to everyone!
